FIELDS GROUP CONSUMER BLOG aka:

FAILEDS DATA RECOVERY

RABID DATA RECOVERY

SLOWIE DIVORCE

FALSE CLAIMS DIRECT

There are some services you really shouldn’t skimp on, dentistry, toilet paper, anything related to servicing of your car – and hard drive data recovery. I should have recalled the old adage “you get what you pay for”. And if I wanted to pay to be ripped off and treated like a fool I couldn’t have done worse than chose a company whose corporate vision is:

“Sector Domination through Unrelenting Growth”

(quote from http://www.bigwales.com/997600.htm)

I started this consumer blog to inform the public how Fields Group and their child companies treat their customers, in the hope that they will put an end to their sharp practices and start doing business in an honest and fair manner.

Fields Group’s best known companies and websites are:

Fields Associates Ltd

Fields Data Recovery Ltd

Rapid Data Recovery Ltd

UK Digital Solutions Ltd

Smart B2B Services Ltd

First Claims Direct Ltd

tribunal-action.com

injunction-direct.com

quickie-divorce.com

managed-divorce.co.uk

visaaction.co.uk

Debt Survival (UK) Ltd

Action Direct (UK) Ltd

Many complaints exist for most but not necessarily all of these companies, however given that they are all based in the same location, have similar if not identical directors and perhaps even staff members share certain roles, it is in the public interest to highlight their relationship.

BLOG STATUS

I am currently revamping the blog, don’t worry I haven’t been silenced I’ve just been preoccupied. For now I would like to ask that you post on the forum to help show the public and statutory bodies how many people are being affected by this company. Try to email me and tell me which post was yours or simply setup an account so that I can verify each story posted.

http://data-recovery-blog.com

SOUR GRAPES?

These are not the “rants of a rival company”. Fields agents have the impression that I have published this blog at the behest of one of their business rivals. Wrong! It would be convenient if that were true, i.e. I was being paid by a competitor to somehow deprive them of customers, but I think they are doing a good enough job without my help.

It is easier for a company like (fill in name of the company which shafted you) to believe that there is some massive conspiracy against them, rather than just accept the fact that many are indignant at how they have been treated and how their complaints have been ignored.

The fact is I do this for free, it’s actually a waste of my precious time, yet I feel compelled to put something out there to prevent others being deprived of their valuable time/money/data. It has nothing to do with money and I need no encouragement from anyone to speak out.

I am disappointed that one of Fields directors thought it better to make threats and insinuations by letter and phone rather than deal with my complaint directly, not to mention the innumerable complaints on the internet directed at his companies. Perhaps it’s easier to silence one guy and his blog rather than go through the inconvenience of dealing with hordes of indignant former clients.

YOU WERE CONNED, BUT SO WERE OTHERS

Over time, I’ve noticed that Fields greatest ally is apathy. Aside from the few brave enough to fight Fields in the courts, people’s indignation quickly turns into resignation.

Bare this in mind if you have just been ripped off and are reading this for the first time. Think of the many poor sods who will more than likely be shafted long after you’ve accepted your loss. There is something you can do to help, even if only to report your story, be it on this blog or to statutory bodies such as Trading Standards.

If you want a more satisfying outcome, then you must be patient. Read through the blog and forum, and you’ll realise that this is not a problem that can be ultimately resolved in the short term. It will require patience and cooperation with the right statutory bodies and other like-minded individuals.

DISCLAIMER

For the record, I publish this blog of my own free will. I receive no remuneration from any of Fields Associates competitors for publishing this blog.

My articles are my own work. I do not moderate the blog, therefore you must contact me if you wish to complain about comments or articles posted by other people. I will only accept complaints submitted by people using their real names and/or job-title. All of my information about Fields comes from Companies House as well as other official sources which anyone can access.
